I’m Dan Kusaya, a one-man band enthusiast whose journey from Zimbabwe to the United States led to a deep passion for live looping and musical storytelling. Through a fusion of instruments and sounds, I create an immersive blend of original compositions and world music, sharing the spirit and heritage of traditional Zimbabwean songs.
Each performance—rooted in Chimurenga inspiration—offers a vibrant Afro-centric perspective on ancient rhythms and melodies once used for healing and celebration. These timeless sounds bring energy, connection, and cultural depth to every stage I perform on.

Beyond solo performances, I also offer drumming workshops, marimba and mbira sessions, and perform with a full band for larger events.
